“It takes more than bread to stay alive. It takes a steady stream of words from God’s mouth” – Matthew 4:4 Msg.
Women’s ministry at MCC provides an opportunity for the particular needs and interests of women to be met in a safe environment. A key part of our ministry is our weekly Bible study.
We believe that all of us have spiritual needs which can only be met by God, therefore we get together to study the story of his involvement with us and seek to apply it to our daily lives. A key part of these times together is the chance to pray for one another, acknowledging our reliance on Jesus Christ.
We encourage each other in the different stages of our journeys of faith in Christ in an atmosphere of acceptance and care. This means for example, that we respect the privacy of each woman and stress confidentiality.
We welcome women of all ages and background regardless of their spiritual tradition.
We share and fellowship with one another in order to grow in our understanding of God and ourselves.
We equip women to reach out and share God’s love with others.
The Women’s Bible study takes place on Monday mornings at 10.30am. Join us for a coffee and a chat followed by Bible study and prayer. Once a month we meet in the MCC Resource Centre at 8pm. All women are welcome!
