About Us
Maynooth Community Church is a comunity of people from various backgrounds and traditions who seek to follow Jesus Christ, enjoy Gods presence together and share his love with others.
MCC was formed in September 2003 and has grown out of the expanding congregation of Lucan Presbyterian Church. We would be delighted to welcome you to any of our services or special events.
Here's a quick outline of our programs:
- A Sunday morning worship service at 10.30am every week in Maynooth Post Primary.
- Full creche and children's program every Sunday.
- Weekly homegroups, where 8-10 people meet regularly to study the Bible and get to know each other better.
- Our Resource Centre offering training and education to the people of Maynooth with new courses all the time.
- Weekly women's Bible Study open to all where we get to know each other, care for each other and study the Bible.
- Weekly prayer meetings on Friday mornings in the MCC Office at 8am.
- Christian book and coffeeshop in our office on Main St. Maynooth.
- MCC Work Teams, where some of our members offer their DIY skills charging only a small fee that is donated to Trocaire.
As a Presbyterian or Reformed church, we are part of a wide fellowship of churches in Ireland and throughout the world who are committed to the ongoing renewal and reformation of the one Church of Jesus Christ, in accordance with the teaching of the Bible and under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. For this reason, we want to encourage and affirm every congregation and community in our area, regardless of denomination, where the presence and authority of our Lord Jesus Christ is found.
